What does “pagar o preço” mean in Portuguese?
This motivational clip lands its thesis early: «a maioria das pessoas não estão dispostas a pagar o preço» (“most people aren’t willing to pay the price”). To pagar o preço is “to pay the price,” to put in the slow, unglamorous work long before any reward shows up.
It’s a staple of Brazil’s huge self-help and coaching scene, where speakers warn against the sede (the “thirst”) for instant results: the gym for a month, the diet for four days, then desistir (to give up). The price, the clip insists, is patience. Pay it, or quit.
