What does “stelno filia” mean in Greek?

Greek parents prompt small children with the verb phrase στέλνω φιλιά (“to send kisses”). The setup is universal: a child stands in front of a phone or camera, and an adult says στείλε φιλιά. The kid blows a kiss into the air, sometimes with both hands, sometimes with full theatrical sweep. The gesture is aimed at absent grandparents, godparents, or whoever else needs reminding that they’re loved. English has “blow a kiss,” but the verb send gives the Greek version a slightly more deliberate feel.
