Who is “Mega Mindy” in Belgium?
Mega Mindy is one of the most-recognized characters in Belgian children’s media, a costumed pink-and-white police-officer-superhero from the Studio 100 television universe. Created in 2006, the show ran on Ketnet and grew into a Flemish cultural touchstone with merchandise, theater spin-offs, and feature films. The pink hair, the catchphrase “Megasterk! Megasnel!”, and partner Toby are universally known across Flemish primary-school audiences. Studio 100, founded by Hans Bourlon and Gert Verhulst, also runs K3, Samson en Gert, Plopsa, and most of Belgium’s licensed children’s IP.
